With regards to the worldwide increasing prevalence of acute poisoning, drug overdose, and chronic toxicity and the inevitable role of research in presenting efficient clues to the problems related to prevention, management and treatment of these disorders, Isfahan Clinical Toxicology Research Center is dedicated to fulfill following missions with respect to the known rules of international medical ethics:
1- To develop societies knowledge in the field of toxicology science
2- To perform epidemiological and clinical researches with the goal of prevention and treatment of acute poisoning and chronic toxicity in order to improve the health services system of the country according to the needs of our society.
3- To collect and organize the related data, documents, articles and certificates in the field of toxicology and toxinology to improve and facilitate the community health-related research projects.
4- To teach human resources in the field of toxicology
5. To encourage researchers
6. To attract attention and cooperation of research centers and relevant departments within the country
7. To collaborate with other organizations and research centers at national, regional and international levels for prevention and treatment of prevalent acute poisoning, especially drug overdose, through performing applied medical research.
